Kakuda 2024 Rathodi Village and the Curse of Kakuda
In Rathodi village, cursed by the ghost Kakuda, each house has a small door that must remain open every Tuesday at 7:15 pm to avoid the ghost's wrath. Sunny (Saqib Saleem) loves Indira (Sonakshi Sinha), but her father disapproves due to Sunny's inability to speak English. They plan to elope, but on a Tuesday, Sunny returns late and gets cursed by Kakuda, developing a hump.
Indira, who doesn't believe in ghosts, insists on seeking medical help in Delhi, but the villagers consider it a curse with no cure. A doctor temporarily fixes the hump, but it reappears the next day. A watchman at the hospital directs Indira to a ghost hunter named Victor (Ritesh Deshmukh).
Kakuda 2024 The Hunt for Kakuda
Victor uses ghost-detecting equipment to uncover clues, leading the group to a well and a scarecrow that comes to life. They discover skeletons and a connection to a circus where Kakuda, once known for his healing kicks, had performed. Learning the village had falsely accused Kakuda of an affair and burned his house, causing his death, they realize his weekly attacks are vengeance.
Kakuda 2024 Confronting the Ghost
Indira's twin sister, Gomti, sleepwalks to the scarecrow, revealing more about Kakuda’s past. Victor devises a plan to cut off Kakuda’s right foot, the source of his power. They lure Kakuda by keeping the small door open, and a fierce confrontation ensues. Victor, after several struggles, manages to sever Kakuda's leg, breaking the curse.
